Aurora is a bustling community that has maintained its "quaint town" feel. It is rich in history and culture including the national historic site, Hillary House. Featuring over 615 acres of parkland and pedestrian trail system that winds through the community, challenging golf course, fine dining, theatre and exciting community events including the World's Longest Street Festival!
Aurora also features a Farmers' Market with local vendors selling produce, meat products, plants, homemade baking and preserves, crafts and more. They are there every Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm running May through October.
The Town of Aurora is known for it's extensive pedestrian trail system (approx. 25 kilometers of trails) that connects many of it's neighbourhood parks, open space corridors and Town facilities.
